Next, Bryan participated in his first City Music Contest over the weekend. The Band Parents also called a few weeks ago and I volunteered to help out in the morning since Bryan didn’t perform until the afternoon. There was lots of rushing around (which is probably why I got the look that I did in the photo about the catchlights…) but it all worked out.
He practiced a little bit the night before.
Then he got ready after I ran home and ironed his shirt at Noon on Saturday.
Bryan had his solo first. He did great-he was a little nervous at first, but he got over it by the end.
Then they practiced for their large group performance.
Then we had an hour to kill, so we hung out in the beautiful fresh air and had a photoshoot.
That was our Saturday. I have more photos from Sunday coming up later in the week.
