December Daily 2012-Days 21-25

IMG_1078

I LOVE when my kids take Polaroids and leave them out for me Open-mouthed smile .  Elizabeth had one of her brothers take this one while I was taking a shower on Sunday night.  I needed a small photo to add to the 21st, so I used it.

IMG_1079

Dressing up for no reason and going out to dinner.  SO MUCH FUN.  So…the reason that I licked my husband was because I wanted a real smile from him.  Which I got.  So it had the desired effect Open-mouthed smile.  And I apologized to Bryan who was taking the photo, but he thought it was funny because he was already getting ready to take the photo when I was smiling and suddenly broke my position to do it.

IMG_1080

Working on “us”.  So important after 17 years.

IMG_1225

Just a simple Sizzix cutout on the back.

IMG_1226

Random Polaroid while the two of us were working on putting together a Star Trek Enterprise model.

IMG_1227

I actually took the photo of the tree on Christmas morning (thus the bag of trash Winking smile) and I took the photo of the heart-shaped candy canes in November.

IMG_1228

Digging out the truck and the S4.  And a close-up of my fabulous new tires.

IMG_1229

Adorable baby pics.  Talking to his Grandpa.  I think he was telling him that he is really a Buffalo Bills fan.

IMG_1231

My favorite photo of the year. Now we have two of them Open-mouthed smile.

IMG_1233

My second favorite pic of the year. My favorite person in the whole wide world with me at Christmas time.

Merry Christmas!

IMG_1240

Our table.  The tablecloth is stained and I couldn’t find the one that I usually use, but it is our family celebrating Christmas together.

IMG_1237

Enough said.

Merry Christmas and here’s to wrapping up another December Daily!

December Daily 2012-Day 19

IMG_0977

Happy Day 19!  I think my hands were cold because that is like my worst handwriting ever.  Oh well.  I got the page done and that is what is important.  I didn’t take any photos, so keeping it simple.

IMG_0975

Here are days 18 and 19 in the page protector together.

Thanks for looking!  The days are flying…

December Daily 2012-Day 18

IMG_0945_edit

Welcome to Day 18!  I am keeping the next four days super simple.  None of my gifts are wrapped and I have been preoccupied with something that will NOT get off of my mind and allow me enough time to get the rest of my shopping done!  And work doesn’t help either Open-mouthed smile.  Anyway.  I journalled directly on the card.  Yea.  You didn’t want to read that.  So I covered it with Martha Stewart wrapping paper (OMG-did you KNOW that Staples has Martha Stewart wrapping paper?!  I LOVE IT!).  Anyway-I journalled on top of the wrapping paper and it is much more up beat than the journaling underneath.  Anyway-Happy Day 18!  And since my page is so boring Winking smile  I decided to include my Project Life photo for the day too.

Day18

Project Life Day 18:  When I woke up this morning, I put on my red and white striped socks with my UGG slippers and I was wearing my shorts.  Every time my husband looked at the socks he laughed.  It was good to hear him laugh, so I took a photo of the socks Open-mouthed smile

Happy Day 18 and thanks for taking a peak!  It' is getting so close now!

December Daily 2012-Day 17

IMG_0938_edit

Welcome to Day 17! I included a photo from the last holiday concert that my husband and I have this week at school and the tickets that we bought.

(I’m not very good at blurring faces, so bear with me on the blurring Smile)

IMG_0937_edit

Love the singing and caught some video on my point and shoot of my favorites:  Sing a song of Christmas and the Carol of the Bells.  Thinking I might put a DVD in my project life album, but not sure.

Happy Day 17 and thanks for looking!

December Daily 2012-Day 16

IMG_0928_edit

Just a Christmas tree on the back of the Day 15 sheet of patterned paper.

IMG_0932_edit

I always have to include a photo of the tree during the day without the flash.

IMG_0933_edit

Some random Polaroids after my husband came home from work.

Happy Day 16!

December Daily 2012-Day 15

IMG_0914

Hello there!  My album is so full right now!  So I’m trying to keep the rest of the album as simple as I can.

I included a photo of the show choir concert that our son was in on Saturday.  His solo was fantastic!  And the vintage ornament wreath that I bought on Etsy earlier in the year.

IMG_0920

I made a gingerbread church all by myself on Saturday.  (Usually my kids make them-this time I decided to make my own).

IMG_0921

I love these vintage cookie cutters.  They are just like the ones that my Mom uses (except I don’t have the Merry Christmas present).

Had a fun and busy Saturday running back and forth to the high school to take things to my son that he forgot Winking smile.

Happy Day 15!

December Daily 2012 Day 12, 13, 14

IMG_0872

Days 11 and 12 together in the 6x8 page protector.  I love these page protectors.

IMG_0873

Our front window from outside the house.  So pretty Open-mouthed smile

IMG_0884

This was supposed to be a 6x8 of our Christmas Tree in an Ali Edwards template from 2011, but I decided to crop it down to fit in the Day 13 overlay instead.

IMG_0885

When did it get to be almost Christmas? Decided to keep this page simple.

IMG_0886

A photo that I took Friday night after the Hobbit.  (It was awesome.  Loved it.)  And we had a great time.

IMG_0887

and a little close-up.

IMG_0888

Journaling about Friday and the week and what is left to do in general.   Thanks for looking.

It’s getting close.

Happy Saturday!

December Daily 2012-Day 11

IMG_0859_edit

I used a photo taken of all us printed out on the POGO printer from my point and shoot on Sunday to make a really quick page.  I added some journaling to the card, then covered it up because I made a mistake and didn’t like it the way that it read.

Day11

I also added this photo to my project life album that Elizabeth took with my camera on Monday night during the Patriots vs. Texans game.  So sweet-Noah looking up at his sweet Uncle Bryan.  Love it.

Happy Day 11!

December Daily 2012-Day 10

IMG_0848

A nice and easy day.  White gold glittered grunge board Noel.

IMG_0850

I also added the Nutcracker program to a 6x8 Simple Stories page protector.

Day10

And this photo and overlay went in my Project Life Album for today.  Look at the adorable grand-bear!  So sweet!

Happy Day 10!

December Daily 2012-Day 9

IMG_0841_edit

The Nutcracker Ballet:  8 of us went and it was the first time for all of us!  I loved it!  It was everything I hoped it would be, with the exception of an incident that happened earlier in the morning.  But as this is a “Glass Half Full” kind of blog, I’m going to let that story go for now.

IMG_0842_edit

A close-up of my journaling on the Elle’s Studio journal card.  I especially enjoyed hearing the symphony play the Nutcracker Suite Live and in person.  I have been listening to the music for years, but only saw the ballet on tv for the first time last year.  I put it on my “before I turn 40” list this year.  So excited to get a chance to do it!

IMG_0845_edit

I printed a copy of my ticket and placed it on the overlay.  I have Monday done as well.  I figured that since we would be travelling all day on Sunday to get to the ballet and return home that I won’t feel much like printing anything when I get home from work on Monday.

Thanks for looking!  I also wanted to say thank you for all of the great comments on my blog this week!  Love that Open-mouthed smile.
