December Daily {Day 4, 5, 6}

Photo of the kids at the Roughriders game. (No journaling-I will probably add a couple of strips of journaling later.)

More photos from the game.

Every year Daddy and I spend some time shopping, then we go out for Lunch. This year we went to the Outback steakhouse for lunch (they never used to be open for lunch-soooo cool!)

I will post this photo by itself, because I think it turned out sooo cool!

Tigger has control of the remote during football on Sunday {she says we are watching the Bears.} Inexpensive decoration that I found at Michael's on Sunday morning to put on the mudroom door.

I caught Daddy outside singing to himself with his headphones on (out loud) while frying a turkey. (I was coming out through the garage and snapped the photo without him seeing me.)
Hope everyone had a great weekend! Happy Monday!

December Daily {Day 3}

The next page in the album was created by using my Christmas card. But you can't see my Christmas card until I send them out :) I created my photos on Shutterfly, so I added these photos to the back of the card to cover up the barcode. Love how the dogs react to the reindeer antlers. None of them were very pleased. Tigger looked like she was ready to attack.

The photo of Pudge in front of the tree as Santa Pudge.

I used a piece of vintage sheet music to create a page for William playing light saber with my new role of wrapping paper.

The back of the Santa Pudge page gets the photo of Bill and Elizabeth watching the game. I added the Believe sticker because that is the Buffalo Bills motto: "Bill"ieve. I found the grungeboard ornament in the bottom of some stuff from last year. The ornament had already been crackled, so I just rubbed some alcohol ink over it and added a number "3".

A close-up of the ornament.
I am loving the December Daily process-as always. I would like to try to include more words on my pages too. But I also want to spend my time being a part of the holidays rather than just documenting them.
Happy Sunday!

December Daily {Day2}

This page is actually a baseball card divider cut to size and sits between page 1 and 2. It is a total scraplift of Ali Edward's Silver & Gold "layout" on page 49 of the December issue. When I was getting ready to post this, I decided that I needed to put some thickers on and some strips of paper like Ali did. The snowflake in the upper left corner was scraplifted from Scrapchick's blog here :) Great idea! I put "Tiara" stickles on a Heidi Swapp ghost snowflake and let it dry.

This is the back of that page.

For this page, I reduced a 12x12 layout of us decorating the Christmas tree to 4x4. I have over 200 sheets of 4x6 photo paper and I very rarely print this size since I started using Shutterfly more often. So this year, I am trying to use as much of my 4x6 paper as I can. I love this house by Donna Downey and Prima too!

On the back of page 2 I made a collage of photos of the kid assembling and decorating their Gingerbread houses. I also caught a photo of William getting ready to throw a spice drop at me. Luckily I was able to get out of the way before it hit me...and still get the photo :)

Hockey Friday

Friday-free tickets to the Roughriders (from Daddy's work). Yay!

William pretty much looked like this for the whole game. And the Monsters that we bought them that they didn't open until we got home. And William knocked Elizabeth's over and then she opened it...and it exploded all over the dining room...
Daddy and I before the game. It was awesome!

I loved the seats that we had.

Richochet came up and said hello to the little boys in front of us.

William did have a smile on his face here.

Elizabeth even smiled for this photo.

And the final score was a little all right too....good end to the game! Have a great weekend!

Technical Difficulties

I experienced some technical difficulties last night, but I am up and running now. Here is how Elizabeth (Jets fan) and Bill (Bills fan-connection?) spent Dec. 3-watching the Bills-Jets game that was played in Toronto. The Jets won.
And here is William pretending my wrapping paper is a light saber. (Spent 1-4 at Bryan's school sorting fundraiser stuff. It was nice, mindless work, which I needed desperately). Good times. I have my Dec Daily pages done, but want to wait until daylight hours to take the photos. Hope to post tomorrow! Happy Weekend!

December Daily {Sort of Day 2}

Day 2! Lots of working-hope to catch up on my Dec Daily pages tomorrow! Pudgey was NOT very thrilled with the Santa costume. But she got lots of treats out of it, so it was okay in the end. And we got some really cute photos!
S0...what do I want for Christmas....well...this contraption that Garfield dreams about Jon giving him is all right...

or a stack of lasagnas would also work!

We put the tree up tonight, and here is one of my fave photos of the night {we also tried to watch Garfield's Christmas-we were all kind of distracted though}. I still have to figure out how to put the photos of the tree trimming into my Dec Daily. Hope to catch up tomorrow. Happy Thursday! {My previous post said happy tuesday...i must have been really tired...}

December Daily {Day 1}

Hello December brush from Ali Edwards Holiday Outline Word Art.
Hello December! Welcome. Please bring snow. And Santa.
Here is page 1 of my December daily with the cover page closed.

Page one. Elizabeth and Ralph are very photogenic.

Decided I definitely wanted to include this photo of Bryan and I. We don't get too many photos of the 2 of us together. Happy December 1! Have a great Wednesday!
