December Daily 2012-Base Part 2
This is part 2 of my December Daily base album for 2012. If you missed part 1, you can find it here.
Love the vintage-looking ornaments on this paper! And the colors. I can’t wait to put my photos and journaling into the album!
Red holly on the back.
I saw someone else use this paper in their album last year. I found it-it was Jenni Hufford and her base album can be found here.
Polka dots!
Christmas trees in pink and blue.
More polka dots!
Silver transparency.
Pretty red poinsettias! Can’t wait until I can buy some poinsettias and put them in the living room!
More candy cane stripes.
More lists.
Chevron
pink paper.
more polka dots.
The santas look like they are dancing.
A little more green and blue.
A small bit of red and white Christmas text.
And another baseball card protector.
And one more protector. I love that candle journaling card-so pretty!
This is the template that I use for punching holes in my papers. I punched a snowflake just for fun.
I’m still waiting to see what Ali Edwards is going to have new at Designer Digitals before I print any templates. I loved the 6x8.5 daily templates last year along with the 6x8 photo templates, so I’m leaning toward using that size.
Good luck with your December Daily Albums. Thanks for looking!
Happy Tuesday!

December Daily 2012 Base-Part 1
I finally have a base done for my December Daily. I have been waffling back and forth for two weeks and finally I decided to just put it together. I am using a mix of things that I have collected over the years as well as some new papers, Ali Edwards’ stamps and templates, and Elle’s Studio tags and her exclusive Christmas stamp. And lots of Martha Stewart White Gold Glitter. The papers that I am using are October Afternoon’s Holiday Style Paper pack and stickers (12x12) and a 6x6 paper pack from My Mind’s Eye that I picked up at Michael’s. I also found some Studio Calico wood veneer snowflakes and Maya Road mistable snowflakes on Two Peas in a Bucket.
I am also eagerly anticipating any new templates that Ali Edwards may release in the near future. I have several 12x12 templates that I have used over the years and I usually create them in 12x12, then shrink them down using Photoshop Elements to 8x8 or slightly smaller to fit in my album. My album is an 8x8 American Crafts chipboard album in lime that I bought on clearance from Two Peas after Christmas last year. I don’t really like lime green, so I painted over the fabric with a layer of gesso, then with pink paint.
I had a couple of Hambly transparency scraps that I was excited to find. Love this design.
I love everything about this “Holiday Style” paper from October Afternoon. The color, the style, the matching elements.
and the snowflakes.
Not sure how I fell about this mist. It’s really pretty in the bottle, but when it dries it kind of looks like blood. Anyway, I love the Ali Edwards December Daily stamps available here. Except for the “I.” That was in a different set of Ali Edwards stamps.
The 6x6 paper pad was an impulse buy at Michaels. I don’t usually use paper packs, but I loved all of the Christmas papers in this pack, so I figured it was okay.
Even the text on the back.
This sheet was a leftover sheet from last year.
I don’t plan to keep all of these journaling cards here, but I wanted to have them where I wouldn’t forget about them.
Same with the scraps of Hambly transparencies.
Love the flocked transparency from Fancy Pants here.
Silver Bells is one of my favorite Christmas songs. I remember Grandpa listening to it on the record player when I was little.
Holiday words.
Leftover reindeer transparency.
Just plain old Kraft paper.
And the back.
Love the red chevron!
And I can’t wait to fill out the Good/Bad List. I already have a pretty good idea who goes on which list
More transparency.
This sheet is either a leftover from last year or a sheet that I bought on sale after Christmas.
I love that one side is red and the other side is light blue!
6x6 sheet of peppermint candies.
And candy cane stripes.
Light blue envelope from Target Christmas Card section.
Pretty red snowflake paper.
And just for fun, a little bit of green and red.
And another baseball card holder, only this one is cut into four pockets instead of 6.
More coming tomorrow!
Enjoy!
