1999:  So I go from holding Bryan…to Bryan being the same height as me.  Wow!  Time flies. 

  

Bo Peep seemed visibly shaken that Patricia was with Jake. 

We think Patricia was a little upset that Jake had his photo taken with Peep as well.

The Mums were beautiful!

 

I didn’t buy any, but I love all of the fall colors!

Weekend at Home

Ralph literally stole the focus in this shot. The camera was set to go and then focused on him as he decided to come barreling at me because I ran to sit on the bench with Mom. 

Had a great weekend back home this weekend.  Beautiful weather.  No sisters…I mean…NO SISTERS AT HOME!  So-I forgive you both, but it would have been really nice to see you!!  As long as I see you both in November then it is okay. It was good to see Jake and Patricia and Mom and Dad. 

I feel like I had a rough weekend camera wise because none of the shots that I took turned out the way that I wanted them to.  I took a long time setting them up.  And then they just didn’t quite work out the way I planned them.  But it is okay. I have the memory.  It would have been nice if Dad had smiled :) Looks like a photo from the 1800s…

{10:1} Quintessential Fall:  I love the changing leaves.

One of the best things about living in the Midwest is the changing of the seasons. I love Fall.  And even better than Fall. Taking Fall photos!  I’m so excited because my sister is taking Picture Fall too!  I expect to be seeing some beautiful Colorado Fall photos very soon, Sarah!

Watching the Sunrise

Sometime this week I decided that I would love to get some sunrise photos.

Saturday Morning: 6:51 am

7:09 am A cloud begins to jut across the sky where the sun is rising.

For a moment, we were pretty sure that the clouds were just going to cover up the sunrise that we had been waiting 40 minutes for.

7:12 am The clouds add a beautiful element to the sky.

 

7:13 am Gorgeous!   

 

7:12 am The sun hasn’t quite broken over the trees down river yet.

7:13 am The sun is staring to break.

7:25 am The sun has broken completely across the trees.  I have no makeup on , my fingers are numb, and it is beautiful.

More on the Polaroid

Isn’t it cute?  And I love the picture size.  Perfect for little projects.  And for sliding into the little slots in the Project Life Page Protectors.  And just like the pictures on the camera box show, it seems to take the best photos up close, when the camera is honed in on faces. 

 

Elizabeth sooo gets it.

The first thing she did was pick it up and take a photo of herself with it :) 

William snapped this lovely shot. 

The dogs, however, weren’t really impressed. 

I still think it is cool.
