Happy Mother's Day, MOM!!!

Happy Mother's Day, Mom!!
(P.S. You can click on each of the photos above to see a large version of each so that you can see the collage photos up close.)
I love you so much. Thank you for all that you have given me. Thank you for all you have taught me. Thank you for putting up with me as a teenager :) Thank you for putting up with all of us NOW! I don't think that I can put into words how much I love you and how much I owe you for all that you have given me over the years. I love you. Happy Mother's Day! I can't wait to see you soon! (The brushes on the layouts are from Ali Edwards-who else? You can get them here.)
Love, Christina

Ninja!

William doing his Ninja moves on camera. He has a friend over right now, so I'm hoping he doesn't catch me posting this-don't want him to use these moves on me!! This is a rare opportunity to see William being himself :) Check out the moves on that guy!
Happy Thursday!!!

Photoshoot-Bryan

Bryan is a wonderful subject for taking photos outside. He is very patient and he works great when you give him something to do {especially reading!} I took tons of photos-which is great because then I am bound to get at least a couple that I really like. Like photos that DO NOT have an electric pole coming up out of the subject's head...
Happy Tuesday!

National Scrapbook Day/Major Scraplift

I had a pretty relaxing National Scrapbook Day-I hope everyone else did too! I started Friday night by going to Michael's with William (he was bored...). I bought some gorgeous ribbon and flowers by Prima, and picked out some pinkish paper. I have been totally inspired by all of Ali Edward's posts lately and here pages with her new baby daughter, and since I bought a scanner for Christmas, all I had to do was rummage through all of my photos and pull out a couple of my baby daughter :)
When I first started scrapbooking, I would get upset and stop because I didn't have the exact photo that I wanted, or I didn't have the exact photo that I THOUGHT I should have to match whatever layout I was working on. I don't do that anymore. I scan the photo in, turn it to Black and White in Photoshop Elements 6.0 and take off with it. I usually crop the photo in closer to the subject though. I LOVE the Scanner. I love being able to make a photo more neutral by turning it black and white. Anyway...
These are the layouts that I completed on Saturday. Elizabeth was at a friend's house all day and Bryan was playing at a friend's house too. William was playing on the Xbox most of the day, then he had a friend come over later. It was very relaxing. I have a photo of me relaxing at the scraptable too. I was so relaxed that I was able to paint when I was finished!
The bottom layout was completely scraplifted from Ali Edwards. You can see her layout here. I had to change up a couple of the supplies, but I totally lifted the design.
Happy Monday!

Crabapple Tree

I have been playing with the camera and taking a bazillion photos of this tree-it is so beautiful! I wish we had like 10 of them lining the street so that I couldn't hear the traffic getting onto the interstate! The top photo was taken outside next to the tree and the bottom photo was taken from my attic bedroom with the window open and Ralph's head hanging out of the window to make it a bit more challenging...Happy Saturday!

Happy Birthday Sarah!!!

Happy Birthday, Sari!!! I can't wait to hang out with you over Memorial Day Weekend! Can you believe that this was almost 4 years ago? I can't. We'll hang out and drink margaritas! Can't wait to come visit you this summer. We all love you and can't wait to see you guys. By the way-Saturday is National Scrapbooking Day, so you should do some scrapping. Hope you have a great one and I can't wait to see you guys soon! Love you, Chrissy!
