Tigger and Elizabeth hanging out.  Tigger likes to take the ball from the other dogs, but she hasn’t played much ball since she was a pup.

Saturday night was good fun-we had an awesome visit.

Mom’s Hummingbirds

I wish I could have captured with my lens the amazing scene going on in my Mom’s yard right now.  Hummingbirds are going crazy-flying all over the place and chasing each other and fighting over the feeders.  Love it.  If I would have had more time over the weekend, I probably could have gotten pictures of the other feeder as well, but this feeder is just outside the sliding glass door.

They are so beautiful-love to take photos of the hummingbirds when they are in a rush to feed before their long flight south.

Snap Dragons

It is amazing how many flowers seem to be popping up all over now that the bunnies have stopped eating everything.  There are even a couple of red petunias in this planter.

These snapdragons were actually planted last year.

So pretty!

Morning Glories

Now that the pesky rabbits stopped eating them, the morning glories are growing, spreading, and blooming again.

Hiding.

 

I love how crazy fast they grow, especially during this time of the year.

Love the beautiful purple color too.

 

And the curly cue vines reaching out everywhere.

I’m hoping to sketch these.

New Fabric

A pretty jellyroll of Vintage Modern Fabric by Bonnie and Camille. 

I LOVE these colors.  (They make me happy).

A teenage boy touched the jelly roll-can you tell?

I saw this bulletin board at Target for 75% off so I stared at it in the store for about 5 minutes.  Then I grabbed it.  I LOVE that color too!  And now it’s in my Studio with a couple of quilt photos on it. 

Hope you had a fantastic weekend.  I have been thinking about this fabric all weekend, but I haven’t gotten to it yet.  Yet.
