Day 9: Just journaling for day 9. We decorated the tree and I wrote about how that was.
My journaling continued on the back of the page and I played with some distress ink and stamps too.
Day 10. I wrote a tiny bit of journaling in the small area and decorated the rest with the sparkly poinsettia die cut.
And finished it off with the photo of all 3 of the kids in front of the tree.
I loved that Ali used some instant photos in her December Daily and it reminded me to take more Polaroids. They really fit nicely in the baseball card protector pages. I also used some extra journaling cards that I had left over from “Week in the Life.”
On Sunday morning I also made a tag inspired by one of Tim Holtz’s tags for the upper right corner as well as some more Polaroids.
We actually decorated the tree on the 9th, but I didn’t have a page for the 9th, so I used a template and put the photos on the 12th.
And on the back of that page, I added another picture that Elizabeth colored for me. I think I remember reverting back to a love of coloring when I was a teenager too.
What’s in the envelope? My Christmas list.
Day 13-Sunday “Ordinary day” photos from my blog post on Monday. I haven’t done anything for the back of day 13 yet, so I left it blank.
I have day 14 almost complete, so I will try to post that tomorrow. I am so happy to be catching up! I am so inspired by all of the wonderful December Daily albums that I am seeing out there, but I haven’t had a lot of time to comment on any of them. I have been playing catchup on Journal Your Christmas too-hoping to post that soon as well.
happy Wednesday!!
