December Daily {Day 13 (continued) 14, and 15}

The back of Day 13-dressed in our football watching clothes for Sunday football!
I wasn't in the mood to take photos, so I chose a couple of Christmas past photos-i love this photo with Kermit the frog!

I loved this photo too-Charlie and I with our New Year's garb on and in the background, Kermit and Curious George are sleeping with one of my favorite blankets under the Christmas tree.

I added a baseball protector page (scraplift of Ali Edwards CK December page) to include some photos of decorations.

Here is the back of that page.

I finally started working on Christmas cards...they are still not done.

Awesome-Monday night I found one of December Daily pages on Ali's blog-SWEET!
I will post more pages as I get the photos ready. Happy Saturday!

Autumn Scrapbook Page

Template from Ali Edwards for Songbird Ave, Papers from Gretchen Thomas (designer digitals) and Sonja C (scrapartist) stitching and overlay from Anna Aspnes (freebie for YT class-week 3)

We got some freebies from Anna Aspnes for our Yesterday & Today class earlier in the week, so I had to use them to create a page for my favorite Fall photos. Hope you like it.

Have a great Friday and a Happy Weekend!

In the Studio...December Daily Prep

December Daily pieces. I haven't decided exactly what I want to do, but I am gathering pieces that I think I want to use.
It's been a long time since I did an "in the studio" post, so here it is! I have been slowly working on my December Daily pages-just sort of milling around, looking at last year's posts, looking at what I have, looking at what I may want to do.

I've been gathering chipboard stars and covering them with silver German glass glitter.

While I was laying things out on my desk, I saw that I had a metal "Believe" word in a package of metal words that I bought at the beginning of the year. Perfect for a Christmas theme...One of the things that I am DEFINITELY trying to do is to use what I already have. I ordered a few Christmas themed papers, but that is about it.

I will be soooo glad when football practice is over...no time...and I got distracted with the stuff that I was working on in the studio and started taking photos of the puppies instead. Here is Ralph in our bed.

Here is Pudge sacked out in our bed.

And here is Tigger sacked out on the floor.
Have a great Thursday. I will be having another great Thursday...since I thought most of the day today was Thursday instead of Wednesday...Oh well...Happy Day anyway!

I was going through photos that I may want to use for Yesterday and Today and I ran across these photos from our visit to Mom's in May.

Marching Band 2009

Friday night lights-featuring the marching band. I really enjoy high school football. I didn't really care about it as much when I was in high school-you know...too much socializing to do as a teenage girl...and I wasn't in band. But now I think it's really really cool.
Elizabeth's line on the field.

Right where she told me she'd be-next to the only saxaphone player with the clarinets.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my expensive 70-300mm Canon lens that I bought in February especially for getting shots like these on the football field. It was SOOOOOO worth the money.

It is really so much easier to follow her around on the field with the camera than to try to watch her with your eye.

I even caught her almost falling over...I'm sure she's thrilled...

I took a LOT of photos while the band was playing before the game...

Zoomed out on more of the band...

A little more marching...

Back in the stands...

I had to text her to get her to look in my direction because she couldn't find me in the stands...Since we share the stadium with Kennedy, and we were "away", I was actually on the wrong side of the band than I usually am, so she was expecting me to be on the other side of the band. And then I took a "fuzzy" photo...oh well...I really enjoyed listening to the band play. I'm looking forward to continuing to enjoy watching the band of blue for the rest of the fall season. I hope everyone enjoys the photos. There will definitely be more! Happy Saturday!
