The Elusive Hummingbird

 

Yes.  I finally caught him on “film.”  And check it out-I have NEVER seen a hummingbird SIT this long.

So-clearly he’s a guy…  Speaking of guys, apparently the hummingbird only feels safe when Bill is outside, because he won’t fly by when I’m outside…only if Bill is there. 

 

Loving the cannas.  I had no idea that Hummingbirds enjoyed canna flowers.  Another hummingbird swung by and tried to chase him off, but he came back.

 

I love when birds ruffle their feathers.

And he’s eating again.

 

I sort of wish this would have come out more clear, but it looks kind of cool blurry like this too. 

And here he is grabbing another drink.  Gotta go-getting yelled at about Laundry by a fifteen year old teenage boy :)  Because everyone knows that I hide his clothes when I take them out of the dryer…
