I had been planning on just buying a cake for William like I do every year. So what did he do? Requested Angel Food cake with chocolate glaze. Well-I barely had time to make the cake, much less the glaze, so I bought chocolate frosting. Which was apparently about 5 pounds too heavy for the cake. But it tasted okay. So I guess that’s all that counts, right? I’ll post more pics tomorrow. William had a good birthday. And he got the presents that he asked for :) And he enjoyed Sarah’s blog post about him. Have a great Wednesday! We’re almost halfway to the long weekend. WOOT!

Hahahaha!! Your cake is awesome!!! I totally love it!! It's like some of mom's angel food cakes! Of course, I'm not judging at all because I have yet to attempt an angel food cake and mine would probably turn out the same ;) I'm so glad William is had a good birthday!! I love pictures of younger William even though he was such a stinker!! So adorable!! I can't believe he's 15!! He's growing up so fast!! They all are! I also love the fishing pictures and the apron. I'm hesitant to ask for another crafty gift but...;) I could use and apron and I'd love one handmade by my very talented sister for my birthday...and I'm totally ok with it if I don't get it until Christmas ;) The planner was time sensitive, that's all. I love you guys!! I miss you so much! Wish I could have been there to celebrate with you all. Can't wait until July!!!!
