On Tuesday, Butch spent the day building a table. And Buying a Big Green Egg to put in it.
He was pretty excited.
Bryan helped carry it out of the car.
So-pretty happy then.
Wednesday: time to start grilling.
Heating up.
Enjoying grilling on the patio instead of in front of the garage.
And then the downpour starts…
Lucky that we have an umbrella.
But we got the thumbs up, so it was all good.
And that BBQ chicken was soooooo juicy and yummy and delicious.

We didn’t have the camera at William’s first tennis meet of the year, so my husband improvised with his Android.
William plays doubles.
And of course he’s adorable.
He doesn’t like to practice.
And he lost the schedule as soon as he got it.
And he doesn’t like to answer questions about when things are.
But we love him anyway. {And he’s a lot like his father.

My dining room table actually got cleaned off this morning. And the tablecloth put on. And the baskets filled.
Bryan playing with a stuffed bunny that I found in a box while I was looking for plastic eggs in the basement. I haven’t been buying stuffed animals anymore. (I’m sad). But that will change soon enough
I grabbed Elizabeth and Matt before they headed out to Matt’s parents’ house.

No photos of Daddy since he worked his 12 hour day, ate dinner, then fell asleep on the couch almost immediately 
Around the table after dinner. One of my favorite things. Even though they get pretty rowdy, I love when everyone sits around the table and visits.

Love this face. It looks like the “Tricycle face” he used to make when he was 3 years old. The adorable face that he would make quickly, but I was never quick enough to take a photo of.

This is one of those photos that I knew I had scrapbook before it ever left the SD card. LOVE IT. And it totally caught us both smiling genuine smiles instead of forced camera smiles. (My husband has that effect on people-he would make a fabulous photographer!)
I don’t usually buy “collections” of products, but usually just buy whatever catches my eye-a certain pattern or color. But Dear Lizzy is totally the exception. I LOVE it. Everything about it. The colors are gorgeous. Polaroid frames-bought 2 or 3 sheets. Chevron-I wish everything I own could be chevron…well maybe not, but you get the idea. The letters (shh-I’m not really supposed to buy any more letter stickers…ever). The only thing that is not Dear Lizzy is the chipboard butterflies (Maya Road) and the October afternoon letter stickers.
My Mom and I have always been mistaken for each other. We look alike and sound alike. And I thought it was time that I created a layout about it since it is VERY evident in the photo. We also love a lot of the same things-including scrapbooking. I almost wished that I had more room to journal on this page, so I’m thinking this may be a topic that I visit again sometime.
