Football Sunday

Freezing our butts off at Bryan's game Sunday. It was warmer than it was at practice Sunday morning when it was snowing, but definitely not warm enough for me. J-hawks won: 36-6.
Bryan has to be at the game an hour early, so we stood around for awhile. Unfortunately, the game before ours was running late, so we started almost 45 minutes late.

Mom and Dad hanging out before the game.

Before the Carhartt hat came out.

After the game. Mom and I could barely feel our feet. And I was wearing my super warm UGG boots and 2 pairs of socks! But Bryan was VERY happy! Go J-Hawks! Good Job!
Happy Monday!

12 Stories Intro Pages

Digital Template and brushes by Ali Edwards-Paper from Designer Digitals.
I am SOOOO loving Ali's Yesterday and Today Class! This is the Intro page template. I decided to create my 12 stories in digital format. It is much faster for me-and it will free up more time for working on my "December Daily" album. December Daily is coming up fast!!! I just ordered a new line of Christmas papers from 2Peas Scrapbooking a few days ago-that is the last of my December Daily shopping-now I just need to create the album!

Anyway-I created the intro page and then decided that it was so much fun that I wanted to do another page! Happy Friday! It's almost the weekend!

Outside Gloria Jeans at the Metro Center-Photo by Mom
I was going through photos that I may want to use for Yesterday and Today and I ran across these photos from our visit to Mom's in May.

Blast From the Past-Women in our Family

Grandma and her sisters-Katherine, Lula, and Darlene. If anyone knows who the little girl is-let me know! The original photo is in color-which I loved, but I decided to give it a bit of a sepia tone for more of a timeless look. Because there are some REALLY 70s looking colors going on in this photo:) Happy Tuesday!

Stories to Tell

I am getting ready to work on the story of how Bill and I met (as part of Ali Edward's class at Big Picture Scrapbooking). So I was looking at the layout I did of our wedding from 1998 and I scanned in the photos. I didn't have a lot of photos from our wedding, but the ones that I do have pretty much tell the whole story. So I created a storyboard to show some it and to get in the spirit of the story. More information coming later on the story and our weekend. Happy Monday!

Saturday Marching Band Competition

Elizabeth had a marching band competition on Saturday night at one of the local high schools. They came in second (which I thought sucked-they were really good!) and normally I take photos during the competition rather than after and normally I'm not in any of them. So I decided to change things up a bit this time: ) Have a great Friday! I will be sitting at home...YAY!
